The Jean Baton Swindells Resource Center for Children and Families http://www.providence.org/Oregon/Programs_and_Services/ChildCenter/e15swindells.htm connects families, caregivers and friends of children with disabilities to resources, information and training. Families come to the Swindells Center seeking answers to many of the questions that surface in their everyday lives. We offer resources specific to disabilities and conditions, as well as information on respite options, recreation, educational options and other day-to-day issues.

Open Oregon School Reform http://www.open.k12.or.us  Oregon Public Education Network was founded as a grassroots effort and formalized as an Oregon Associated Education Service District-sponsored (OAESD) project in 1995. OPEN's mission is to enable all of Oregon's K-12 schools to participate in a coordinated information network allowing for students and educators to reach technology based classes and resources. OPEN builds on successful regional networks to offer a wide range of networks and educational services targeted for Oregon students and educators.

The Oregon Parent Information and Resource Center http://www.nwrel.org/pirc/index.html (PIRC or OPIRC) serves all parents, as well as other adults who work with children and families in the state. The Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education as part of the Goals 2000: Educate America Act. To date the Oregon Parent Information and Resource Center includes 19 sites in six counties. Besides a variety of classes and workshops offered at various sites, staff will search for and provide information requested. The Center and its sites have an extensive lending library with books, audio, video and training on a variety of parenting topics.
