What is The Oregon r.i.s.e. Center?
We are a statewide organization that encourages, educates, and empowers children and young adult with disabilities, their parents, family members, and professionals to collaboratively achieve unlimited success.
We are a regionalized model with staff living in the area that they serve.
Our current programs are:
Bullying Prevention and Awareness focuses on specific curriculum and activities to eliminate Bullying in our schools and communities.
Infant and Early Childhood Special Education provides parents of children ages birth through 5 years the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to help their children obtain the education, health care, and other services they deserve.
OrPTI is the statewide parent training and information program serving parents of children and youth experiencing disability, as well as the professionals who serve them. OrPTI provides trainings on topics related to special education and disability issues.
Transition focuses on youth with disabilities 14 -21 years old who are transitioning into post-secondary education, employment and community.

- Parents of children and youth with disabilities, emotional or beavioral concerns,
or suspected disabilities ages birth to 26.
- Professionals supporting children and youth with disabilites.
- Students with disabilities ages birth to 26 with questions related to education, employment, advocacy, independence, sexuality and healthy lifestyles.

Where is the Oregon r.i.s.e. Center?
The Oregon r.i.s.e. Center services are available throughout Oregon. We currently have four regional trainers geographically dispersed throughout the state, our administrative office is located in Salem at 2288 Liberty Street NE.
When is the Oregon r.i.s.e. Center open?
The Oregon r.i.s.e. Center administrative office is generally open from 9 am to 4 pm. There may be times that you would reach voicemail during our regular office hours. Our staff make every effort to return your call in a timely manner, usually within 24 hours.
